Entanet seeks success in Comms Business Awards
15th March 2010
Leading voice and data communications provider, Entanet, has once again been nominated in the prestigious ISP of the Year category of the Comms Business Awards and is excited by the prospect of Comms Business readers casting their vote in its favour.
By recognising excellence in key areas of the communications market, the Comms Business Awards provide the industry with a way of acknowledging the companies that deliver the very best service and support in the channel. This is the fourth year in succession that Entanet has been nominated for the ISP of the Year category and it hopes channel partners will acknowledge the pioneering strategy it has developed, particularly over the past year.
While most of the winners are chosen by a panel of judges, three of the awards, including ISP of the Year, are decided on reader votes alone. This means that resellers have a real say in who wins and make the award even more special, said Entanet’s Head of Marketing, Darren Farnden.
“We’re delighted to be nominated for this important award once again and we’ll be seeking the support of all our channel partners. We sincerely hope that enough of them will recognise that we’ve moved forward considerably over the past year to earn their backing. We really value the partnerships we have with them and one thing they can be certain of is that, whatever the result of these awards, we’ll never take their loyalty for granted; and that we’ll continue to work hard to earn their business and their continued support.”
The past year has been a busy one for Entanet and its partners, he noted. “In January we became the first provider to directly consume both WBC and IPStream Connect and operate solely via 21CN-based platforms. In March we launched a new broadband portfolio which unified the pricing and features of our ADSL and ADSL2+ products, having been the only non-BT company to launch ADSL2+ on 21CN the year before. We brought many partners together for an action-packed incentive day, where they enjoyed a variety of exciting driving experiences; and throughout the year we continued to improve and expand our national next generation network to continue to deliver high quality, resilient connectivity throughout the UK.”
This latest nomination follows a number of other recent award successes for Entanet. In 2009 the company’s significant levels of organic growth were acknowledged when it retained its 61st place ranking in the Sunday Times Techtrack 100;and was ranked in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA and the Tech Media Invest Top 100. Additionally Entanet has been named as a finalist in the 2010 PCR Awards in the category of Specialist Vendor of the Year and was a finalist in the 2009 CRN Channel Awards, Comms National Awards and ISPA Awards.
