Entanet ranked in EMEA’s 500 fastest growing technology companies
3rd December 2009Leading communications provider Entanet has achieved further recognition of its significant levels of organic growth with a ranking of 435th in this year’s Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA The privately-owned communications provider achieved the ranking based on a revenue growth rate of 413 per cent over the last five years, identifying it as one of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in EMEA.
Commenting on the award, Entanet’s Head of Marketing, Darren Farnden said: “To feature in a ranking of the top 500 technology companies across 26 countries in EMEA is a real achievement. We believe our sustained growth is due to our commitment to innovation and investment. Entanet remains the only non-BT company to have invested fully in Wholesale Broadband Connect (WBC), the wholesale platform via which BT delivers its 21st Century services. This investment has enabled us to remain at the forefront of the industry, becoming the first provider to offer 21CN- based ADSL2+ services.”
Entanet helps channel grab a slice of London Ethernet market
29th October 2009Entanet, the leading wholesale voice and data communications provider, has launched a special promotion to UK data resellers and systems integrators on Ethernet access circuits in London. The promotion aims to encourage existing and potential Entanet partners to grab a slice of the Ethernet market in London.
The promotion focuses on orders of ‘Ethernet Access Direct’ placed by 30 November 2009 that are served by any of 38 selected London exchanges. Key elements of the offer include half price connection; free desk survey to identify any excess construction charges; the first £5,000 of any such charges waived; and a standard 30 working day install.
Entanet drives channel relationships forward at Partner Driving Event
5th October 2009Leading voice and data communications provider Entanet treated 20 of its channel partners to an action-packed day of driving activities as a reward for their enthusiastic promotion and adoption of its ADSL2+ and other services.
In July 2008, Entanet became the first provider to launch 21CN based ADSL2+ services, providing end user customers with potentially faster speeds and greater stability. At the same time it launched a channel incentive that rewarded partners for every ADSL2+ connection ordered and gave them a chance to win a place at the driving event, which was held on 17th & 18th September in Staffordshire.
Entanet named as finalist in national comms industry awards for fourth consecutive year
28th September 2009Leading voice and data communications provider Entanet has once again been named as a finalist in the Comms National Awards, previously known as the Channel Network Awards.
The Comms National Awards celebrate and reward excellence in the provision of ICT solutions and recognise successful channel partnerships. Entanet has been named as a finalist in the category of ‘Service Provider of the Year’ following a number of nominations from channel partners. To enter the awards, the provider must be nominated by at least one channel partner. Finalists and winners are then selected based on the partner’s entry submissions.
Entanet defies current economic trend with second consecutive Techtrack growth ranking
22nd September 2009Leading voice and data communications provider Entanet has retained a significant ranking in the 2009 Sunday Times Techtrack 100 due to impressive levels of organic growth, defying current recession trends.
The Sunday Times Techtrack 100 ranks the fastest growing privately-owned technology companies in the UK based on sales growth over a three year period. Entanet’s growth exceeded 52%, placing it 61st for the second year running.
Entanet makes Tech Media Invest Top 100
9th September 2009Leading voice and data communications provider, Entanet, has been chosen as one of the most innovative and financially successful technology companies in 2009.
The company has been named in the ‘Tech Media Invest Top 100 List’, which has been created in association with The Guardian and is sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers, Kemp Little and Microsoft. It identifies the hottest emerging and most innovative companies in the tech and media industries, based on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance and innovation.
Entanet named finalist in Channel Awards for fourth consecutive year
9th September 2009Leading voice and data communications provider Entanet has once again been nominated in the CRN Channel Awards category of Specialist Vendor of the Year and is hoping to claim the award once again after its previous success in both 2006 and 2007.
The CRN Channel Awards recognise commitment that suppliers make to driving business development for their channel partners. Short-lists for the awards are selected by a panel of independent judges and the winners chosen after resellers and other channel partners have been given the opportunity to vote for the company that they believe is most deserving.
Entanet presents the channel with the full picture at Convergence Summit South

Janet achieves greatness along the Wall of China
8th June 2009In April we publicised Entagroup’s sponsorship of Janet Poole as she embarked on a gruelling 10 day challenge across the route of the Great Wall in China. Trekking with 50 other walkers in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, Janet faced some personal challenges including leaving behind her husband and four children and also a fear of heights. We caught up with her once she’d returned, eager to hear her experiences and congratulate her on her achievement.

Entanet simplifies broadband sales with new unified portfolio
25th March 2009Leading voice and data communications provider Entanet is launching a new portfolio of unified broadband products to simplify options for its reseller partners and customers and take advantage of recent investment in the development of its national network.
The new offerings replace its existing ADSL and ADSL2+ product sets and will be available from 30 March 2009. Customers will be offered the same terms and conditions regardless of whether they choose an underlying rate adaptive ADSL or ADSL2+ connection. Alternatively, for a small additional amount more per month, they can select a fixed rate ADSL connection in a choice of 512Kbps, 1Mbps or 2Mbps speeds.
