Entanet voices its opinions

3rd November 2008

Leading voice and data communications provider Entanet has launched a new opinion site designed to provoke discussion on the industry’s hot topics.

Opinion.enta.net aims to encourage discussion and reader interaction on key issues through article ratings, polls, comments and even the opportunity to suggest a topic they want Entanet to cover. The site gives readers a valuable insight into Entanet’s views on a number of topical issues and provides journalists, editors and website managers a useful online source of content to reuse on their websites via an RSS feed. They can also contact Entanet directly for further comment on any of the topics covered.

Commenting on the new website, Entanet’s Head of Marketing, Darren Farnden, said: “Opinion.enta.net provides readers with a valuable insight into what we think of and how we tackle the issues that affect our partners and their customers. Our aim is for the site to become a conduit for discussion so that we can equally understand what others think about these issues.”

Current articles on the site cover topics such as the latest ‘big brother’ proposals by the government to store and monitor all of the UK’s electronic communications; how the industry is responding to bandwidth heavy technologies such as the BBC’s iPlayer; the recent spate of legal action surrounding illegal file sharing; and, on a lighter note, BT’s insatiable appetite for acronyms.
