Entanet finalist for quintet of ISPA Awards

Entanet's status as one of the UK's leading voice and data services providers has been underlined by the company being short-listed in five separate categories - more than any of the other finalists - for this year's ISPA Awards.

The ISPAs - the UK Internet industry awards - are unique as they are awarded to people and organisations in the industry by their peers and reflect the broad nature of the service provider sector. The short-lists of five for each category are drawn up as a result of technical testing of each entrant's service before information detailing the features and benefits of the service is reviewed. A panel of industry expert judges will decide the winner of each accolade at the end of January.

No other company appears in as many of the short-lists this year as Entanet, which has been nominated as a finalist for:

Best Business ISP
Best Business Broadband
Best Internet Telephony
Best Consumer Broadband
Best Business Email

Entanet's nominations put a definite stamp on its position in the highly competitive voice and data connectivity services market. "It demonstrates that Entanet is an unquestionable leader in the business sector and a serious player in the consumer market as well.

The Internet Services Providers' Association (ISPA UK) has been organising the UK Internet Industry Awards since 1999 to herald the best of the Internet industry and to celebrate innovation and best practice. In 2002 the awards were dubbed 'The ISPAs'.

Each year the event evolves to reflect changes in the sector and to represent the ever broadening nature of the service provider sector. Attended by senior decision makers, Government representatives and the media, The ISPAs are the premiere event for the industry. The presentations will take place at the Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square, London on 15th February 2007.

The nominations come hot on the heels of Entanet winning the prestigious title of Specialist Vendor of the Year, Products or Services, in the 2006 CRN Channel Awards as a result of voting by channel Partners and customers in recognition of its commitment to quality service delivery.
