Entanet's VoIP Network
Entanet's reliable VoIP platform, developed in house by Entanet's team of experienced programmers and system administrators, facilitates continuous development into the features and functionality of our VoIP services, ensuring Partners evolving requirements are met. Entanet VoIP is SIP based and suitable for use with SIP capable PBX systems.
Configuration Information
Entanet works with a number of hardware providers to support auto-provisioning, which allows users to configure the hardware by simply entering the MAC code found on the device at the Entanet VoIP User Portal. Alternatively, each account's SIP configuration details are made available on the Entanet VoIP User Portal enabling them to configure the SIP devices manually using the manufacturer's configuration software.
Emergency 999 dialling
Entanet's VoIP services fully support emergency 999 dialling. However, please note VoIP is dependent on power and Internet connectivity. Should either your customers' power or Internet connectivity fail they will not be able to make calls. We therefore advise you to recommend that your customers ensure they have a secondary calling service e.g. a mobile phone or PSTN/ISDN line.
Requirements
To make and receive calls either an ATA, IP phone or softphone is required. VoIP is dependent on your customers' Internet connectivity service and power.
